EXPATRIATE APPLICATION FOR PEOPLE REPUBLIC OF CHINA (PRC) PASSPORT ISSUED IN HUBEI, ZHEJIANG AND JIANGSU PROVINCES OF CHINA, AND ALL NATIONALITIES WHO WERE PRESENT IN THESE PROVINCES WITHIN THE LAST 14 DAYS

Dear Valued Clients,

We refer to the latest announcement on the Coronavirus outbreak from the Prime Minister’s Office dated 27th January 2020 and the announcement published on ESD website dated 29th January 2020. The Government of Malaysia has decided to put on hold for all types of entry visas from WUHAN City, HUBEI Province of China.

Please be informed that the Immigration Department of Malaysia has also decided to expand the restriction to:-
1. People Republic of China (PRC) applicants whose passports were issued in ZHEJIANG and JIANGSU provinces.
2. ALL NATIONALITIES who were present in Wuhan, Hubei, Zhejiang and/or Jiangsu provinces fourteen (14) days before entering Malaysia.

Thus, all new applications for People Republic of China (PRC) passports issued in Hubei, Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces, and nationalities who were in these provinces fourteen (14) days prior to entering Malaysia submitted to ESD Online and RP-T Online will not be processed until further notice.
