IMMIGRATION REGULATION ON SOCIAL VISIT PASS (LONG TERM) APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN ABOVE 18 YEARS OLD

With immediate effect, Immigration Department of Malaysia has set an age limit for Social Visit Pass (Long Term) applications for children above 18 years old. Please see details as below:

  • Above 18 years old – 25 years old ONLY (except for Children with Disabilities)

A letter from Commissioner of Oaths with regard to the applicant's latest status (single, unemployed and under custodian of the Residence Pass-Talent holder) is required for every submission of Social Visit Pass (Long Term) including renewal cases.

Note: Documents checklist MUST be in accordance with the checklist issued by the Immigration Department of Malaysia. Failure to provide complete documents as per checklist will result to your application to be denied.
