UPDATE: OPERATIONS DURING THE MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER FROM 13 TO 26 JANUARY 2021

Dear Valued Clients,
Kindly note the following:
1. Expatriates with expired passes from 1 January 2020 and are currently in Malaysia are allowed to leave the country within 14 working days upon the end of the Movement Control Order (MCO), without having to apply for any special passes or obtain prior approval from the Malaysian authorities. Expatriates are allowed leave the country at any of the following permitted Entry Points:
a) Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA 1 & 2)
b) Sultan Ismail International Airport, Senai, Johor
c) Bayan Lepas International Airport, Penang
d) Langkawi International Airport, Kedah
e) Kuching International Airport, Sarawak
f) Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Sabah
g) Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (2nd Link), Johor (Entry by automobile)
h) Immigration Checkpoint, Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI), Johor (Entry by automobile)
2. Please be reminded of our 12 January 2021 announcement that MYXpats Centre will continue to operate with minimal support throughout the MCO period. Strictly no walk-in is allowed, and no one will be allowed to enter without a confirmed appointment made via the system.
3. Kindly note that during the MCO period, all applications will be processed as usual through the system, however please expect that there may be delays with regards to the approval processes.
