Confirm your eligibility for the RP-T POST-10-YEARS before beginning your application.

To be considered for the RP-T POST-10-YEARS, applicants have to first fulfil the following criteria:
  • Has worked in Malaysia for a minimum of three (3) consecutive years at the time of application.
  • Holds a valid RP-T pass in the current passport.
  • Earns a basic monthly salary of RM15,000 which excludes any allowances and/or bonuses.
  • Has a Malaysian income tax file number and has paid income tax for the most recent 2 years (minimum) at the time of application. Total annual income declared in the 2 years' tax filings needs to be commensurate with the minimum monthly income (at least RM180,000 per annum).
  • Holds a PhD/Master's/Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline from a recognised university or a professional/competency certificate from a recognised professional institute.
  • Possesses at least 5 years of total work experience.

*Above are the MINIMUM criteria required for RP-T POST-10-YEARS approval. However, the approval status of the application is subject to the discretion of the RP-T Panel.
